The people who keep us company throughout our life cycle

Henrik Lindberg has put together this nice chart showing the people we spend the most time with throughout out life cycle. The data comes from the America Time Use Survey, and the the code to create this chart in R is available here. Thanks Steve Williams for the pointer.

This might be a good moment to reflect about life.

Thanks for the share! A minor error:

"This might me a good moment to reflect about life." -> "This might BE a good moment to reflect about life."

Not true.

724 minutes (12,07 hours)

with people only from those 5 categories?

228 minutes (3,8 hours) alone

216 minutes (3,6 hours) with co-workers

180 minutes (3,0 hours) with children

168 minutes (2,8 hours) with partner

88 minutes (1,47 hours) with family

72 minutes (1,2 hours) with friends

With spend less time with these 5 categories,

more time with another persons and definitely more alone.
